Booking & Payment

All bookings must be reserved and paid in full through Side Street Studio's online scheduler at the time of booking. A booking is not confirmed until payment is received. Package hours must be used within the stated redemption window from the date of purchase; unused hours expire and are not refunded.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

All bookings are final. Side Street Studio does not offer refunds for any reason, including cancellation, no-shows, or early departure. If you need to cancel, you may request a credit toward a future booking or reschedule to another available time. Rescheduling requires at least 48 hours' notice and is subject to availability; no reschedule fee applies.

Liability & Release

The renter (the photographer or business booking the studio) is solely responsible for the safety and conduct of their own clients, guests, and any equipment they bring into the studio during the rental period. Side Street Studio is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property occurring during a rental, except where caused by Side Street Studio's own gross negligence. By booking, the renter agrees to assume full responsibility for anyone they bring into the space and to release Side Street Studio and its owners from liability for incidents occurring during their rental period.

Damage & Cleaning

The renter is responsible for leaving the studio, its furnishings, backdrops, and props in the condition they found them, including returning all furniture and props to their original spot. No tape of any kind is permitted on the walls. Any damage to studio property, including backdrops, furniture, or equipment, will be billed to the renter at the cost of repair or replacement. A cleaning fee will be charged if the space is left in need of more than standard tidying (e.g. spills, confetti, excessive mess, items left behind).

Studio Use Rules

• No open flame, candles, or smoke/fog effects

• No smoking or vaping inside the studio or anywhere in the building

• No glitter, confetti, or loose sand without prior approval

• No pets allowed in the studio, with the exception of service animals

• Music is welcome during sessions, but please be mindful of volume and respectful of neighboring tenants

• Backdrops, props, and furnishings may not be altered, painted, taped, or permanently modified

• Maximum occupancy is 20 people in the studio at a time

• Only the renter and their booked clients/guests may be present unless otherwise arranged in advance

• Equipment, props, and furniture may not be removed from the studio

• The studio has security cameras in place

• The studio must be left as it was found at the end of the rental period

Access & Hours

Renters may access the studio only during their booked time window, including any setup and breakdown. The studio must be fully vacated by the end of your booked rental period. A fee of $25 per 5 minutes will be charged for any time spent in the studio past your reservation's end time. Maximum occupancy is 20 people at a time. Access instructions (address, parking, entry) are provided in the booking confirmation email. Renters are responsible for returning the studio key to the lockbox and ensuring the lockbox is securely locked at the end of their session. A $50 fee applies for a lost key or failure to return the key to the lockbox.

Agreement

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. By completing a booking, the renter confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. Side Street Studio maintains a zero-tolerance policy: any violation of these terms may result in the renter being denied future bookings, at Side Street Studio's sole discretion.
